The client's goal is to add a side extension with a bathroom to the ground floor of their home. Currently, the toilet is situated outdoors, which requires walking out of the kitchen into the garden and through a door that leads to the toilet. The dwelling's location in a conservation area makes it imperative to preserve the architectural character of the home.

 

          The client's brief is very particular: create a sympathetic small side extension in harmony with the original structure. This will involve using materials in keeping with the period of the building and reusing existing dogleg corner and salvaged bricks. The client is pleased with the proposal and construction of the extension is underway.
